So Many Projects - So Few Fingers

Eve is a busy beaver! And a happy one too! There are so many Artsy projects around my apartment just screaming out my name!  Check some of them out:

My sewing machine has been smoking! Can you tell what I'm making? Here's a peak at a project I'm working on for my Mum-in-Law. She loves cats and I've been making cat hot water bottle covers for her.

Guess what, I've just purchased my 1st professional Hot Glue Gun! Is this girl excited! I've been in such a creative mood lately, I think I'll be wearing my gun around my waist. I'll glue anything that moves and feels lucky!

Below are two picture framed mirrors measuring 10" x 10" (pictured front and back). I don't have a clue what I'll do with them yet. Got these last weekend at a car boot sale/outside flea market. They were priced at £1 each, but the seller gave them to me at .25 pence each (.39 cents).  I might paint them, and hot clue something around the wood. Any ideas what?

On a different trip to a Car Boot Sale, I made off with these!

Check out the price, (Only £2/ $3.18 each) They are discontinued, notice the X, fabric sample books from an upholstrey store. The really Humungous books with quality fabrics!

This doesn't show how large they are and how many are in each book, but they are jam packed and so heavy to carry. The embroidering and colours are amazing! And the seller took my name and number, next time she shows up at a car boot sale, she's going to call me to purchase tons more books from her!

The back sides of the fabrics are just as pretty as the front sides. I have big plans for these fabric pieces. Stick around my friend, and I'll show ya one day really soon :D

At a different Car Boot Sale I purchased these 3 canvas boards for £1 the set ($1.54).  Don't know what I'll do with them yet, the suede coverings are nice, but I want them to match my livingroom colours which I'm changing to red, and brown. These measure around 12" X12" and should hang in succession on my living room wall.

In between working on all of these super fun craft projects, I'm still looking for work and trying to cope with my health issues. Remember I said I was having doctor visits and eye exams all last week? Well the outcome wasn't so great, but instead of getting bummed out over things I'm going to focus on all that's good and lovely.

Like my blog followers; the new and not so new :D

THANK YOU to ALL you WONDERFUL blog FOLLOWERS!

oh my gosh, it's so exciting to see your projects. And that glue gun!! I need a glue gun baaaad. My 20 year old glue gun doesn't heat up too hot.

I'll be praying for your eyes, I'm glad you don't let it get you down.

Have fun with your projects.

What wonderful finds. Looks like you kitty water bottle cover is going to be very cute. I just stumbled across a fashion illustrator who uses needlepoint and embroidery to make her illustrations. They are fantastic! Her name is Paula Sanz Caballero. She's represented by Traffic Creative Management. You might want to check her out. Just Google her name or the name of her mgt company to pull her up.

Well, I'm back to working on three more drawings. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments. Have a great evening, Sweetie!

loved the "creative" poem. I know God created us all to be creative...i'm trying to find what that means for me. I tend to feel like i'm not creative...still trying to find my niche!
