The Breakfast Song

Wow, I've had lots of different things for breakfast before,
but sugar and rice? That's on a whole'nuther level!

And seriously, I was kind of hoping that there'll be all-you-can-eat pancakes in heaven with all different flavours of syrup. Sausages and bacon too.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

And Now For Our Top Story Tonight...

Wow, does this Newscaster know that he resembles the wanted man?

I mean he's got the same hair cut, eye brows, mustache, same eyes, nose, lips, chin, and everything. Oh man, I hope they caught this guy.

This is a real newscaster.  His name is Marc Brown. I have no reason to believe that the story isn't real also.

I Really Really Dig...

All Things Sweet!

It's downright rotten being a diabetic. Can't have this, can't have that. So whomever it was that invented artificial sweeteners - I Adore You! Now I can have this and that. Yes!

I usually bake cakes, cookies, and pies with Splenda artificial sweetener. There's no after-taste and it doesn't give me any side effects, some people say Splenda gives them headaches.

'Franks' brand does a very nice diabetic vanilla ice cream.

And Werther's Original candy comes in a sugar free pack now. Yummy!

Being a diabetic isn't all that horrible if you watch your intake and check labels on everything. Everything. I'm not an expert on the subject but I'm learning all the time.

At Least I Gave It A Go...

Two years ago I got this awesome idea about making Greeting Cards for interracial couples.

Having tons of magazines around my house gave me plenty of materials to work with considering that I wanted to do abstract, montage images. So I went to snipping and ripping and cutting and gluing until my office looked like Broadway after a ticker-tape parade.
And here we have the two end products of my heartfelt, grueling labour.
Needless to say, my new career in card making went up in smoke. Or at least that's what it should have done. So I moved on to another hobby, jewellery making, and folks I'm soooo much better at that craft. As far as making cards go, I at least can say I gave it a go. What have you given a go to and it ended up a nasty mess?

Well, If you can't take a joke...

I went to the doctor and said, 'Doc, every morning when I get up and look in the mirror, I feel like throwing up. What's wrong with me?' The doctor said, 'I don't know but your eyesight's perfect.' (Rodney Dangerfield)

My Earring Creations

Funky Flower Girls

I call these Funky Flower Girls. I really love mixing and matching my beads.
Each earring measures evenly and perfectly in length and weight dispite the beads being different sizes. This style is more of what I like to wear myself although I did give this set away to a very popular Jazz singer. So if you see a very beautiful, talented Jazz singer wearing these, you know who designed them. Me!
I call these earrings Outter Space Gold because the bottom bead looks like a space ship. The earrings are very light weight due to the beads being plastic. Up close one really can't tell they're not metal unless you feel them or look inside the holes.
Jewellery making is a passion of mine but I always have to be in the right mood for it because it takes a lot of patience and dexterity.
My messy desk including all sorts when I'm making and bagging my new creations.
